We just learned that Cin7 was ranked as a Leader in the FrontRunners Quadrant for inventory management software. And we have our customers to thank for it.
The FrontRunners Quadrant is an evaluation of software solutions in selected categories, published by Software Advice, a Gartner Digital Markets company. FrontRunners analyzes end-user reviews along with verified product data to position top performing products based on capability and value to small businesses in North America.
On a 1-to-5 scale, Cin7 scored a 3.86 on the Capability axis and a 3.84 for Value.

To be considered for the inventory management FrontRunners, a product needed a minimum of 10 user reviews, a minimum capability user rating score of 3.3 and a minimum value user rating score of 3.3.
“This was unexpected and welcome news,” says Danny Ing, Cin7 Founder and Chief Architect. “I think our placement as a Leader in the FrontRunners Quadrant is at least in part a reflection of our ongoing effort to make a better product for our customers. We rely on our customer community to help us achieve that goal and we really appreciate the feedback they’ve given us over the years.”
To create the quadrant, Gartner evaluated over 200 inventory management products. Those with the top scores for their capability and value made the quadrant. Scores are based largely on reviews from real software users, along with other product performance details, such as product features.
According to FrontRunners, leaders are considered all-around strong products that offer a wide range of functionality to a wide range of customers. These products are considered highly valuable by customers.
