In business and computing terms, QuickBooks has been around forever. Its pedigree shares roots with the rise of the PC. Since the early 1980s, it has grown to dominate accounting software in America. By 2015, 29 million businesses in the US were QuickBooks customers, giving it 80% market share among SMBs. Today, QuickBooks offers four varieties of on-premise and cloud accounting solutions and Cin7 Quickbooks Integration will soon integrate with all of them.

QuickBooks Integration: Better Inventory for Everyone

Intuit, the maker of QuickBooks, launched in 1983. Its founders saw the opportunity personal computing afforded to eliminate paper-and-pencil accounting. At first, Intuit faced competition from a dozen or so other providers. However, over the 1990s, it made a number of important acquisitions that gave QuickBooks more features and an edge in the market.

While many of its customers continue to use its desktop product, QuickBooks today offers cloud and on-premise products. With Cin7’s QuickBooks Integration, either kind of customer can manage stock levels, automate fulfillment and keep costs down. Here are the QuickBooks products Cin7 integrates with now, and very soon:

QuickBooks Online

Cin7 integrates with QuickBooks Online, a cloud-based solution for small product-focused businesses. Cin7’s QuickBooks Integration lets you automatically update your ledgers with your latest purchases, sales and stock value. Moreover, you can synchronize credit notes and automatically adjust for deposits. With QuickBooks Online and Cin7, you’ll always know your actual costs and profits.

QuickBooks Enterprise

Cin7 integrates with QuickBooks Enterprise, the server-based solution built for larger SMBs. While Intuit also offers a hosted version of Enterprise, many customers prefer to keep their software on-premise. The QuickBooks integration lets Enterprise customers synchronize Cin7 purchases, sales and stock value in a few mouse-clicks.

More On-Premise QuickBook Integration Coming Soon

Cin7 will soon accommodate businesses using QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Premier. Smaller companies that don’t need Enterprise, but still want to run their accounting software in-house use these desktop-based solutions.
