Cin7 ran its very first Partner Bootcamp from October 19 to October 20.
The Bootcamp followed closely on the heels of the formal launch of Cin7’s two-tier Partner Program at the beginning of October. The first Partner Bootcamp, a two-day orientation and training session for Certified Integrator tier, saw more than a dozen participants from New Zealand and Australia join the Cin7 Partner team and other staff at our office in Auckland.
The second Bootcamp for Certified Integrators will be held in Sydney, Australia on November 8.
What We Did at Partner Bootcamp
Day one kicked off with in-depth training, as well as a presentation by Cin7 founder Danny Ing about how the company was created and where we are heading in the future. It was great to meet in person some of the Partners that have been working with us for years and to establish relationships with new Partners.
The Partners provided feedback after the event. They told us one of their favorite parts of the day was touring our office. They were able to meet some of the teams behind the solution. (With over 60 staff now globally, Cin7’s staff growth is reflects our growth worldwide). It was great for our Partners to put some faces to the names.
Day one finished off with dinner and drinks at a local Japanese restaurant where our Partners were able to network and chat with staff.
Day two included one-on-one “table sessions” with our Support, Sales, Accounting and On Boarding teams. Our Partners were able to ask questions and have more in-depth conversations. After morning tea, we headed down to the Auckland Waterfront to take the ferry to Waiheke Island for a relaxed lunch at Stonyridge Vineyard. With partners flying over from as far away as Perth for the Bootcamp, it was a great opportunity to show off a little bit of New Zealand. After lunch, networking drinks and vineyard tour, we headed back to Auckland.
The event went so well that we’re hoping to repeat the vibe next week when we meet with our Australian Partners. We also have plans to hold a Bootcamp next year in the US. The dates will be announced in early 2017.
